Alberth Elis is a Honduran professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ligue 2 club Bordeaux and the Honduras national team.
Elis was born in Tela, Atlántida, Honduras. He started his career with Olimpia in 2013, before moving to Monterrey in 2016. He was loaned out to Houston Dynamo in 2017, and Boavista in 2020. In 2021, he joined Bordeaux on loan, and the move was made permanent in 2022.
Elis has made 53 appearances for the Honduras national team, scoring 14 goals. He was part of the Honduras team that competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Elis is known for his pace, dribbling, and finishing ability. He has been nicknamed “La Panterita” (The Little Panther) for his speed.
